Dick’s first contact with Bencis was in 2003 while working as a trainee for NeSBIC Buyout Fund, the predecessor of Bencis. He continued his career at the first branch of Standard & Poor’s Valuation Practice to be founded outside America, which felt very much like running his own business within a multinational. After three years in this position, he became increasingly interested in moving over to private equity, and rejoined Bencis. Since then, Dick has been involved with companies in a variety of industries. As a fan of team sports, he enjoys collaborating with executive boards to achieve optimum results. Dick studied Business Economics at the University of Groningen and has attended various courses at INSEAD and AIF.
